Daisy and Robin's costume of choice for this unit is a gardener. In this unit children will learn new garden vocabulary. This unit also focuses on the life cycle of the butterfly and encourages children to think about its different stages.

GARDEN VOCABULARY 

LIFE CYCLE OF A BUTTERFLY

The butterfly lays an egg.

 Four days later... the caterpillar comes out of the egg. 

Soon caterpillar makes a cocoon and two weeks later...

 a butterfly comes out the cocoon!

 Daisy and Robin's costume of choice for this unit is a chef. In this unit, children will learn and practise new food vocabulary. They will also learn some information about where food comes from.

New vocabulary: 

Bread, cheese, butter, ham, egg, salad.

New structure:  

Give me some... please.

For example: Give me some butter, please.

Nature smart new words: 

 Chickens, honey, bees, milk, cows.
